Finally, Google has unveiled their first-ever WearOS watch the Pixel Watch. On October 7 Google launched their latest Pixel 7 series along with Pixel Watch. Google also unveiled their new Wear OS 3 which is one of the first Android smartwatches to run the latest version of Wear OS alongside the Galaxy Watch 4 and 5. Google has also added a few new watch faces to their watch. How To Add Pixel Watch face to Other WearOS Watches
For the sake of numbers, Google has added a total of 18 new watch faces to their OS, which can also be added to your WearOS 3 watches. Below is the preview for those newly added watch faces.
To add these watch faces to your watch, you will have to sideload the APK to your watch. You can also sideload a lot of different apps to your wearOS watches as it is still based on Android. Even though the process of sideloading an APK on the smartwatch is a bit different, it isn’t impossible.

- First, you will have to download and install the ADB on your computer if you haven’t already then you can download it from here.
- Once you have set up the ADB now on your Galaxy Watch running Wear OS go to the settings and about software. Then tap 7 times on the build number of your watch to enable the developer options.
- Once enabled, go back to settings and tap on the developer options.
- Scroll down and enable ADB Debugging.
- Now, enable debugging over Wifi.
- Make sure that your computer and the watch are connected to the same WIFI network even the band should be the same.
- Now on your computer go to the platform-tools folder, type in CMD in its address bar, and hit Enter. This will launch Command Prompt.
- Now type in the below command in this CMD window [make sure to replace IP accordingly]. Command – adb connect IP
- You will now get a prompt on your watch, tap OK or Always Allow from this computer.
- Finally, execute the below command to verify the ADB Connection between your watch and PC. Command – adb devices
- You will now get your IP Address and port number, followed by the ‘device’ keyword. This signifies that the connection has been successfully established.
- Now, download the Pixel watch face APK from the link(APK Mirror).
- Once you have downloaded the APK place it into the platform-tools folder and then on the command prompt window type the below command to begin installing the APK on your watch.
adb -s "IP address" install filename.apk
- Type the IP address after adb-s and then ‘install’ and then type the name of the file to install it.
- Once installation is completed, type
adb disconnect
- Now, turn off Debug over WIFI and ADB Debugging from the developer options of your watch, and tap on the build number 7 times to turn off the developer mode.
- Once you have done all, go to the wearable app of your galaxy watch and you should see all the new watch faces from the Pixel watch in the watch faces section of the app.
