Samsung has now added a new feature called “Self-diagnose” in the Samsung Members app and by using this feature, users can now check the battery health of their Galaxy Watch. Samsung is one of the few brands which are giving tough competition to Apple in the smartwatch market. Although, their watches are much more affordable as compared to the Apple watches and they are not less in any aspect.

They provide many useful features like wireless charging, fitness tracking and Samsung smartwatches that come with wear OS which allows you to install apps and games directly on your watch. Samsung is providing an option to do ECG also in some selected countries. Many users wanted an option to check the battery health of their Galaxy watch.

This feature allows you to not only check the battery health but you can also check other things like if the touch screen is working properly or not or the sensors are working properly or not and many more.

This new connected device diagnostics feature was added with the January 2023 update (GWA3) to the Samsung Members app.

You can check the battery health of your Galaxy Watch and its other aspects but for using this feature, you need to update the Samsung Members app and Galaxy Wearable app to the latest version.

How to Check the Battery Health of your Samsung Galaxy watch?

Following are the steps and by following these, you can check the battery health of your Galaxy Watch:

  • Download and install the January 2023 (R890XXU1GWA3) update on your Galaxy Watch.
  • Now, update your Samsung Members app and Galaxy Wearable app to the latest version.
  • Open the Samsung Members app after updating it and tap on the support tab.

  • Select your watch from the list of connected devices under the “Connected Devices Diagnostics” option and tap on the Allow option. It will install a new Software Diagnose app.

You can choose the battery status option from available diagnosis options after the installation completed.

This Self-diagnose feature also allows you to check the functionality of the display and find the defects in it. Tap on the touch screen option to check the display.

You can check other things like if all the sensors are working properly or not and many more and you can also check the health of your Galaxy Buds using this Self-diagnose feature.
