The first Beta of Android 14 brings many new features to the OnePlus 11, like a whole new customization suite for the lock screens that resemble iOS 16, AI-generated emoji wallpapers, and more. The second beta brought a 2.4 GHz toggle for the Wi-Fi hotspot, Ultra HDR for photos, a revamped contrast selector, and a feature where you can change your font size on the go.

It was the first beta of Android 14 on the OnePlus 11. Until now, only Google Pixel phones got limited access to developer previews. Other companies get the beta versions after Google I/O. Google expects platform stability with the fourth beta in July. Full public updates will mostly go live beginning in August or September.

Despite all the new exciting additions, users were bound to face many problems. Most popular complaints include WLAN malfunctions, which severely disrupt everyday use. Casting fails were also reported when connecting to a TV. Random screen crashes, and freeze-ups are common reports too. Since the OS is still in a very early stage, this isn’t easy to use normally for most people. There might be random bugs and glitches, and visual inconsistencies. There’s also a problem with some app compatibility on Android 14. However, if you installed the update just to check the features and want to revert to a stable version of Android 13 due to the lack of stability, this article will show you how to do that.

This process will completely wipe all your user data, and you’ll not see any of your applications. We advise taking a complete backup of your data since it’s difficult or impossible to recover once you fully wipe the device. Downgrading to a previous Android version requires a full factory data reset, and we’re not responsible for any accidental data loss. However, once you’re done with the backup, grab the relevant Android 13 firmware from the below links.
