The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra comes in with an AMOLED QHD+ 120Hz display. The 120Hz is the reason for the phone to feel this smooth as the screen refreshes twice as fast as the regular 60Hz. The Adaptive refresh rate on the S22 Ultra means that the phone can automatically switch refresh rates to save battery. But some third-party apps like Snapchat only go up to 60Hz on the adaptive mode which makes for an unpleasant experience. Therefore here is How to Force 120Hz on all Apps on Galaxy S22 Ultra.

Apps like Snapchat don’t run well on Android because they are not optimised for it. For this tutorial, we will use the SetEdit (Settings Database Editor) App. SetEdit provides direct access to the Android settings database and allows users to edit these settings to their needs.
- Download the SetEdit app from the Google Play Store.
- Navigate to the System Table.
- Click on the Add New Settings tab at the top of the screen.
- Enter the below command:
min_refresh_rate
- After saving the changes, enter 0.1 for the second value.
- Click on Add New Setting again.
- Enter the below command:
peak_refresh_rate
- After saving the changes, enter 0.1 for the second value.
- Reboot your Phone.
