Get Google Apps for Huawei Mate 40 Pro
Last week Huawei unveiled their all-new flagship phone the Huawei Mate 40 Pro. It has incredible hardware with good software. Huawei has always been excellent in giving good software experience. The phone runs on EMUI by Huawei, based on Android but without any Google apps and support. It means that it won’t be having google Play service, Google Play Store, Gmail, and other Google apps. The phone runs on Kirin 9000 processor, which is based on 5nm processing. It has an incredible design and a very reliable camera. Previously Huawei phones have excelled in the camera and battery department. The phone is a rock-solid flagship phone with no drawbacks except one major one. It is the lack of Google services. Fortunately, there’s a way through which you can get Google apps on mate 40 Pro and work more or less like any other Android phone.
The lack of GMS apps is the only place where Huawei phones lack; otherwise, they compete very well with other flagships. Huawei’s stellar cameras can easily compete with the iPhones and the Pixel. The phone itself is a complete package.
How To Get Google Apps for Huawei Mate 40 Pro
Huawei Mate 40 Pro isn’t the first device to come out from Huawei without GMS support. Other Huawei and Honor devices lack GMS packages. However, there are many other ways to get google support on Huawei devices, but many of them are pretty complicated and takes a sweat to do it. For an average user, it is not that easy. This is when the new Googlefier app comes in handy to help you install Google Apps and support on your Huawei and Honor devices.
Googlefier is an unofficial GMS installer from XDA Senior Member bender_007. The App is straightforward to use and gives a step-by-step guide on how to install GMS packages. You don’t even need to connect our phone to a PC or write any weird ADB commands. You need to install the App from the link provided below and grant all the App’s permissions.

While the installation process is going on, Googlefier will first replace your existing backup app and restore LZPlay. LZPlay is the name of the GMS installation app/method that is used to install GMS apps. Previously we heard this name during the launch of Huawei P30 Pro and other Huawei devices. The entire process will take 5-10 minutes, and if you follow each of the steps correctly, you shouldn’t face any errors. Five steps need to be followed. After this, you can install Google Play Store and other Google apps on your device.
Do note Googlefier won’t work if you have updated your phone to EMUI 11. It only works on Android 10 EMUI 10.
Member of XDA tested Googlefier on a Huawei P40 Pro and Huawei MatePad Pro running EMUI 10. The video embedded below shows the installation process on a Huawei Mate 40 Pro.
